Senior People Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Senior People Operations Coordinator will support global People Operations by coordinating audits, compliance activities, vendor management, background checks and process governance. Working in a hybrid setting in Costa Rica, the role partners with multiple internal teams to ensure HR processes are accurate, consistent and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal HR audits, collect evidence, track remediation and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Map, document and improve HR workflows using tools such as Lucidchart, creating SOPs, controls and process guides.
• Manage global background check processes and HR‑related RFPs, overseeing vendor performance and issue resolution.
• Handle HR service tickets in platforms like ServiceNow or Salesforce, optimizing case management, approvals and reporting.
• Develop and maintain HR knowledge content, SOPs, checklists and training materials, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in HR operations, shared services, compliance or HRIS.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience designing, documenting and improving HR processes and controls.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, dashboards, macros).
• ServiceNow HR Service Delivery or similar workflow platform.
• Salesforce experience for HR case management.
• Lucidchart or equivalent process‑mapping tool.
