Lead Performance Management Specialist

About the role

The Lead Performance Management Specialist will empower employees through meaningful feedback, continuous development, and performance strategies that drive both individual and organizational success. This role sits within Deloitte's Performance Management team, supporting professionals below the PPMD level across all Deloitte businesses in Costa Rica.

Key responsibilities

• Advise talent and business leaders on performance management processes, socialization, and education.
• Own relationships with Talent Business Advisors, executing performance activities that inform promotion and compensation decisions.
• Identify trends in performance data and recommend actions, including low‑performer management.
• Support annual performance and promotion cycles, from eligibility identification to finalizing promotion decisions.
• Collaborate with the PM manager and senior manager to ensure consistent, efficient execution of PM processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field.
• 5+ years of HR or related experience.
• Strong English and Spanish oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to support and communicate with US‑based stakeholders in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Experience handling confidential information appropriately.
