About the role
As HR Business Partner, you will partner with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational priorities in the Coloplast Shared Service. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support leadership effectiveness, workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and change initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary People & Culture advisor to leaders, providing guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership development, and people-related business decisions.
- Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, attendance, conflict resolution, and other complex employee matters.
- Partner with leaders to identify talent needs, succession plans, development opportunities, and retention strategies.
- Support performance and talent management processes, including calibration discussions and development planning.
- Advise leaders on compensation, recognition, and workforce-related decisions within company frameworks.
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and culture initiatives that support organizational goals.
- Provide change management support during organizational transformations and business initiatives.
- Analyze people data and trends to identify risks, provide insights, and recommend actions to leadership.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Reward, Legal, Finance, and global HR teams to deliver integrated people solutions.
- Ensure compliance with employment practices, company policies, and HR governance standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; advanced studies are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Talent Management, or Organizational Development.
- Proven experience advising leaders and managing complex employee and organizational matters.
- Strong knowledge of performance management, talent development, workforce planning, change management, employee engagement, and compensation principles.
- Solid understanding of Costa Rican labor practices and employment regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret people data and translate insights into business actions.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience with SuccessFactors or similar HR systems and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multinational and fast‑paced environment.
