Technical Program Manager II

About the role

Join Akamai's Cloud Technology Program Management team as a Technical Program Manager II, leading major infrastructure programs from concept to market. You will work cross‑functionally with engineering, product, and operations to deliver data‑center projects that drive customer loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, and Network Operations to support the product roadmap.
• Analyze risks early, develop contingency plans, and keep program timelines on track.
• Identify and communicate work backlogs to stakeholders, prioritising based on business needs.
• Report program status and changes to senior leaders using standardized methods.
• Maintain and iterate on a committed work roadmap throughout the calendar year.

Required profile

• High School or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience with network infrastructure, cloud technologies, data‑center or connectivity deployment projects.
• Proven ability to analyse workload and communicate technical issues to senior stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills for global collaboration.
