Specialist - F&A - I2C

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Specialist in Finance and Accounts (F&A) for the I2C domain, based in San Jose, Costa Rica. The role covers all activities related to the I2C domain, including reconciling agent accounts, posting premiums and following up on delinquent items, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile the agent account according to the remittance provided by the account current agent.
• Post amounts on policy bill lines received from the agent for policy premiums.
• Follow up with the agent on delinquent items and on amounts held in suspense accounts.
• Ensure transaction quality complies with the SLA metrics defined by the company.
• Provide relevant process reports on a timely basis.
• Adhere to attendance schedules and company policies and procedures.
• Coach and groom team members to build a strong, efficient team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Intermediate English (B1) and Portuguese.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate verbally and by email with businesses, and to build effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize, stay flexible and show a positive attitude focused on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Accounting, Accounts Receivable (AR), AR collection and management, cash application, collections management and deductions management.
• Preferred certifications: F-Tec Accounts Payable, CFA, CPA, CTP, or Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst.

The position is a regular, day-shift role in Costa Rica with hybrid work.
