Senior Associate - F&A (Cash Application & AR)

About the role

Genpact is hiring a Senior Associate for its F&A (Finance & Accounts) team in Costa Rica, covering cash application and accounts receivable. The role is hybrid, day-shift and regular, and involves making collection calls, handling invoices and reconciling payments to customer remittances.

Key responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers, email or fax invoices and arrange hard copies to be mailed to customers as requested.
• Allocate payments according to customer remittances, validate them thoroughly and report back to business.
• Keep track of aged receivables across AR entities and act as subject matter specialist for AR processes.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and respond to client queries.
• Resolve unidentified cash, follow up on customer disputes and questions, and reconcile orders to customer books, including validating credits or debits for collection or refund.
• Complete daily receipt reconciliation (DRR) accurately and confidentially at assigned sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Experience with a real estate client is preferred.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2).
