SharePoint Administration Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert in SharePoint Online Administration to lead enterprise‑wide initiatives that optimise and scale SharePoint Online and Microsoft Viva (Connections & Engage). This hybrid role blends backend administration with user‑experience strategy to deliver secure, scalable, and engaging digital platforms for internal communication and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimise SharePoint Online environments, including site architecture, permissions, metadata, and content lifecycle.
• Lead implementation of Microsoft Viva Connections and Engage, partnering with HR and Internal Communications to boost employee engagement.
• Collaborate with IT, HR, Communications, and Compliance to ensure consistent intranet functionality and digital experiences.
• Prepare SharePoint environments for Microsoft Copilot integration, focusing on security, structure, and discoverability.
• Develop governance frameworks, templates, and self‑service resources for site owners and stakeholders.
• Monitor platform performance and user engagement using Microsoft analytics; deliver insights via dashboards and reports.
• Troubleshoot and implement integrations with Microsoft 365 tools, including Power Automate, Viva, and Teams.
• Stay current with the Microsoft 365 roadmap and recommend strategic enhancements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience administering SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Viva Connections and Engage.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and modern web parts.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical teams.
