Embedded Software Engineer – BSP Verification

About the role

Avionyx is building a new electronics design team to create test equipment and, eventually, flight hardware for aerospace applications. As an Embedded Software Engineer you will verify Board Support Packages (BSPs) for safety‑critical RTOS platforms, ensuring compliance with DO‑178C standards.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development and verification of BSPs across a range of hardware configurations.
• Develop test cases and procedures according to verification plans for various embedded BSPs.
• Write requirements and code in line with development plans for multiple hardware targets.
• Ensure BSP quality and safety compliance, adhering to DO‑178C standards.
• Conduct development and verification of BSP components, guaranteeing compatibility, stability and performance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Computer, Software or a related field.
• Strong command of C/C++ programming and familiarity with assembly language.
• Solid knowledge of computer architecture and embedded‑systems concepts.
• Understanding of hardware design, schematics and datasheets.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and strong written and verbal English skills.
