Senior Tax Specialist – Indirect Tax Analyst

About the role

You will support indirect tax compliance across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, ensuring accurate VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales Lists and other obligations while driving process improvements through data analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and execute indirect tax filings and payments across EMEA.
• Design data‑mining protocols to extract tax data from ERP, SAP and tax authority portals.
• Validate and cleanse large datasets for accuracy in filings and audits.
• Create dynamic reports and dashboards for tax compliance monitoring.
• Collaborate with regional tax teams, Finance, GBS, IT and external providers to maintain compliance quality.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a quantitative/analytical role and in tax business.
• Advanced English proficiency and local regional language.

Required skills

• Business intelligence tools: KNIME or Alteryx, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
