Senior Software Engineer - Tech Ex AI Assets Foundry Team

About the role

West Monroe is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Tech Ex AI Assets Foundry Team. You will work with the internal Labs product team to create reusable, scalable, and secure AI‑enabled applications that help consultants deliver solutions more efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full‑stack software applications and reusable asset components for the AI Assets portfolio.
• Integrate Generative AI capabilities such as APIs, prompt workflows, retrieval‑augmented generation, and model evaluation.
• Translate product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into maintainable, reliable, and secure code.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with architects and senior technical leaders to follow established architecture patterns.
• Ensure engineering quality through code reviews, unit/integration testing, CI/CD, documentation, and observability.
• Apply responsible AI, data privacy, security, and compliance considerations.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and integration challenges across front‑end, back‑end, data, cloud, and AI service layers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience building full‑stack, cloud‑native applications.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML integration and responsible AI principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional Agile teams.
