About the role

TradeStation is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join the Order Execution – Streaming (OXS) team. You will work remotely on a low‑latency, scalable platform that delivers real‑time order, position, and balance data to traders and institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

Write, extend, and maintain automated tests in the C# regression framework.
Create and manage unit, component, integration, and end‑to‑end regression test suites.
Develop test plans, generate artifacts, and provide quality metrics for OXS services.
Validate streaming interfaces (gRPC, REST, WebSockets) and ensure correct ordering, duplication handling, and state reconciliation.
Build and maintain mocks, stubs, and simulated upstream dependencies for isolated testing.
Support change management by validating change requests and recording test evidence for releases.
Maintain test runs and results in TestRail and improve regression execution in GitLab CI pipelines.
Assist developers in running the regression suite locally and improve onboarding documentation.

Required profile

Strong analytical mindset with a genuine passion for testing and breaking software.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work during US equity and futures market hours.
