Junior Software Engineer – AI‑Centric Web Applications

About the role

As a Junior Software Engineer at Power Digital, you will build and maintain features across AI‑centric web applications, turning designs into functional UI and integrating APIs. You will work closely with senior engineers, using both hands‑on and AI‑assisted coding in a global, English‑speaking team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend features, writing clean, well‑documented code.
• Implement UI based on design specifications and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Debug technical issues and create unit and integration tests to ensure reliable releases.
• Follow security best practices, git workflow, and internal development standards.
• Participate in code reviews, stand‑ups, and keep leads informed of task status and blockers.
• Leverage AI technologies to enhance and optimise business processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level.
• Comfort giving and receiving feedback in code reviews and asking for help when blocked.
• Eagerness to learn quickly, take direction, and grow technical skills.
• Ability to work remotely across Pacific time‑zone hours.
