Senior R2R Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior R2R (Record‑to‑Report) Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal and external standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a process expert, resolving complex accounting and technical issues across the R2R cycle.
• Drive process optimisation and continuous‑improvement initiatives using root‑cause analysis, standardisation and automation tools such as RPA or workflow systems.
• Maintain strict compliance with accounting standards, SOX controls and audit guidelines, preparing and reviewing financial transactions and reports.
• Lead onboarding and training for new team members, developing materials and facilitating knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects including system migrations, ERP upgrades, and global financial support initiatives.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with Intercompany, Procure‑to‑Pay and Order‑to‑Cash teams to resolve cross‑functional accounting issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the accounting cycle, intercompany processes and month‑end closing.
• Strong knowledge of Excel; familiarity with IFRS 16, Anaplan and ERP systems is a plus.
