Senior HR Business Partner

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives for Avionyx, a software engineering services company serving the eVTOL and aviation sectors. This role oversees core HR functions, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives a positive employee experience while supporting growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and continuously improve core HR processes and services.
• Lead multiple HR functions—including Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Development, and HR Operations—to ensure consistent practices.
• Support managers and employees on workplace matters, performance issues, and policy application.
• Maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs aligned with market and business needs.
• Drive performance management, learning, and development initiatives.
• Partner with hiring leaders on recruitment, workforce planning, and talent acquisition.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Administration or a related field (Licentiate degree preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in HR, with a strong background in people leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of Costa Rican labor law (C1 level bilingual communication).
• Proven experience in talent acquisition and conflict resolution.
