Senior Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Generalist provides guidance and support across the full HR spectrum for Solesis’ Costa Rica location, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and local labor regulations while partnering with managers to drive talent development and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance, coaching and policy advice to managers and employees, aligning with corporate and local objectives.
• Manage employee relations, conduct investigations, and support disciplinary processes while ensuring compliance with Costa Rican labor laws.
• Oversee performance management cycles, merit increases, and exit interviews, translating data into improvement actions.
• Administer local payroll, benefits, and HRIS data, serving as the subject‑matter expert for payroll processes.
• Lead talent acquisition activities, from job posting and screening to interview coordination and onboarding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to leaders and influence decisions.
• Valid US visa.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience using HR information systems and automated payroll processing tools.
