Recruiter, Talent Acquisition – Costa Rica

About the role

The Recruiter, Talent Acquisition partners with hiring managers and HR teams to support hiring across PetSmart’s Costa Rica office. This full‑cycle recruiting role also handles interview scheduling, candidate onboarding, staffing agencies, vendors, and recruiting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the recruiting process from intake and sourcing through interviewing, selection, offer, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to develop sourcing strategies and provide guidance.
• Source, screen, assess, and present qualified candidates using job boards, search engines, referrals, and other tools.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Coordinate interviews, complex interview panels, reschedules, candidate communications, and travel arrangements.
• Support candidate onboarding activities, including background checks, relocation tasks, and new‑hire documentation.
• Manage day‑to‑day coordination with staffing agencies, recruiting vendors, and other external partners.
• Provide recruiting coordination and scheduling support for select US‑based roles.
• Support Talent Acquisition reporting, process improvements, and team initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience in a corporate, staffing, or search‑firm environment.
• Experience coordinating interviews, managing complex calendars, and supporting onboarding activities.
• Ability to manage multiple searches, complex schedules, competing priorities, and detailed follow‑up.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System and HR systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
