Senior People Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Senior People Operations Coordinator will support global People Operations by coordinating audits, compliance activities, vendor management, background checks, and process governance. This hybrid role in Costa Rica works closely with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure HR processes are accurate, consistent, and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal HR audits, collect evidence, follow up with stakeholders and track remediation.
• Map and document workflows using Lucidchart, create SOPs, and maintain process ownership.
• Manage global background check processes and HR‑related RFPs, overseeing vendor performance and issue resolution.
• Resolve HR tickets in ServiceNow or Salesforce, optimize case management, and ensure data integrity through regular audits.
• Develop and maintain HR knowledge content, SOPs, checklists, and training materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 4+ years in HR operations, compliance, or related functions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Experience designing, documenting and improving HR processes, workflows and training materials.
• Ability to handle sensitive HR information with discretion in a global environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, dashboards, macros).
• Experience with HR service delivery platforms such as ServiceNow HR Service Delivery or Salesforce.
• Proficiency in workflow mapping tools like Lucidchart.
• Data analysis and reporting skills.
