Project Engineer III – 12‑month temporary role in Medical Devices

About the role

The Project Engineer III will lead the implementation of Marketed Product Support (MPS) and supplier change projects, as well as short‑term initiatives aimed at preventing shortages in the medical‑devices manufacturing environment. The role works within interdisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with company standards, regulations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage geographic introductions, line extensions, and process or product transfers across sites.
• Oversee high‑complexity component or material changes, including packaging and labeling updates.
• Develop and control project schedules and budgets, coordinating resources with functional areas worldwide.
• Lead execution of design‑control documentation and validation protocols.
• Interact with national and international suppliers to secure required materials and services.
• Implement, monitor, and report key performance indicators for each project.
• Ensure proper closure of deviations, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and maintain EHS compliance.
• Supervise assigned personnel, providing guidance and tracking progress.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Industrial, Chemical, Materials or a related field.
• Post‑graduate degree or certification in Project Management is desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the medical‑device industry.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on project execution experience.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (oral and written).
