Engineering Consultant Intern – Medical Devices

About the role

Enhanced Compliance Inc. (ECI) is building a talent pool of soon‑to‑be graduates eager to gain hands‑on experience in the medical device industry. As an Engineering Consultant Intern you will support project teams, learn regulatory quality processes, and develop practical engineering skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist project teams with basic engineering tasks such as product design, materials testing, drafting specifications, documentation, and technical reporting.
• Learn and apply quality documentation processes, including SOPs and inspection procedures, under guidance.
• Support problem‑solving efforts using basic diagnostic and engineering approaches while ensuring compliance with FDA QSR and ISO 13485.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients, adapting to diverse client cultures and maintaining professionalism.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering (rising junior/senior).
• 0–2 years of related experience (internships, coursework, or projects preferred).
• Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading).
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Teams).
• Experience with Minitab or other statistical analysis tools (preferred).
• Experience with electronic document management systems (a plus).
