PM Data Analyst

About the role

Join a critical platform‑level position at Lonza that supports strategic decision‑making across Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) and mRNA operations. The role blends financial analytics, KPI reporting, governance and process improvement to provide leaders with accurate insights for business performance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver platform‑level financial analyses and reporting, ensuring accuracy across revenue outlooks, revenue recognition, WBS structures, work‑in‑progress and deferred balances.
• Prepare, analyse and present KPI reporting for site and platform reviews to support performance management.
• Support target‑setting and Business Review processes through data analysis, scenario modelling and clear communication of risks and opportunities.
• Maintain aligned views of risks and opportunities across CGT and mRNA sites, linking them to financial performance.
• Improve scope governance by enhancing reporting tools, data quality and trackers.
• Design and implement automation solutions, dashboards and analytical tools to increase reporting efficiency and data integrity.
• Partner with Program Management, Finance, Commercial Development, Proposals and Operations to drive data governance and standardisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• Experience in financial analytics, program management analytics, portfolio management or project controlling.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, KPI analysis and data‑driven decision support.
• Proven ability to work effectively in complex, matrixed, highly regulated environments.
• Experience in Life Sciences, Biopharma, Manufacturing or Capital Project environments is preferred.
