Staff Accounts Payable - Latin America

About the role

Re:Sources, the backbone of Publicis Groupe, provides finance, accounting and other business services to its network of advertising, PR, media and marketing agencies. The Staff AP Media position registers all documents needed to settle the financial liabilities of Publicis Groupe Latin America with its vendors of products and services. The role is based in San Jose, Costa Rica, on a full-time contract.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and register all received documents and applications in the appropriate systems (such as Advertmind) accurately and on time.
• Support supplier invoicing for Argentina: enter portals and mailboxes of each agency to download and save invoice images in Lion Box, and pre-register them so agencies can use them correctly.
• Follow processing exceptions and escalations, including approval authorisation reviews, and promptly report system incidents to the analyst or supervisor.
• Support migrations and mergers for new countries, and assist in generating reports from the various systems.
• Manage SAT settlements and IVA for Latin America: validate withholding calculations, monitor discrepancies, notify suppliers, agencies and Re:Sources about withholdings applied to customer invoices, and apply the correct retentions to supplier invoices.
• Monitor closing dates in Advertmind for each Business Unit to ensure correct billing cycles and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a finance-related field.
• A year of previous experience in accounts payable, accounting or a similar finance role is preferred.
• Fluent English at upper-intermediate level (B1 or above).

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
• ERP software for data entry and payment tracking.
