Cash Application Processor

About the role

The Revenue Accounting Cash Application Processor handles revenue accounting functions related to posting payments received within Operations Accounting. The role builds relationships with external and internal customers and ensures accurate, timely work for control and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Post customer payments by recording cash, checks and wire transactions into the Workday accounting system.
• Verify and resolve discrepancies by gathering and investigating information from internal and external customers.
• Verify and provide the information needed to process refund applications.
• Receive and review check images and obtain invoicing information.
• Coordinate with the Revenue Accounting Lead and Revenue Accounting Manager to meet project deadlines, monthly close due dates and other goals.
• Meet internal control and SOX compliance requirements under established policies and procedures.
• Assist with payment application research.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Typically 3 years of related work experience.
• English level 85%.
• Experience with customer service.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills.
• Heavy computer use and good communication with team members.
