Leave of Absence Case Manager – Contract (11 months)

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Contract Leave of Absence (LOA) Case Manager to join its Disability & Leave Services (DLS) team for an 11‑month engagement. You will act as the single point of contact for employees navigating leave of absence, disability, and accommodation events, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and respond to employee inquiries about leave, disability events, benefits, and options.
• Review medical documentation and adjudicate leaves in line with Amazon policies, federal and state regulations.
• Adjust case management plans as employee needs evolve and troubleshoot issues throughout the leave lifecycle.
• Facilitate return‑to‑work and ramp‑back plans, coordinating with managers and business partners.
• Maintain accurate system records and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with third‑party administrators, HR, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Safety teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field, or high school diploma with relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong understanding of leave policies, federal/state regulations, and benefit plans.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
