About the role

A company based in Escazú, Costa Rica is looking for a responsible, organized and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Payable Assistant. The position is full-time and 100% on-site, and immediate availability is required.

Key responsibilities

Receive, review and register vendor invoices
Prepare payment requests and follow up until payments are completed
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Keep accounts payable records organized and up to date

Required profile

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
At least 1 year of accounting or accounts payable experience
Experience performing or assisting with account reconciliations
English level C1 (at least 90% proficiency)
Resides near Escazú and can start immediately, with no notice period

Required skills

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred: strong organization, proactive attitude, excellent attention to detail, strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
