Junior Associate Financial Accountant

About the role

Re:Sources, the shared services arm of Publicis Groupe, provides finance, accounting, legal, benefits, procurement, tax, real estate, treasury and risk management services to its network of advertising, PR, media, healthcare and digital marketing agencies. This Junior Associate Financial Accountant position supports the accounting and financial tasks for the USMT entities in the U.S. market, covering month-end close, intercompany balances, FMC reports and financial reporting, in line with Publicis Groupe policies (Janus) and the financial analysis guidelines (Actuals, Budgets, Forecasts, Financial Statements).

Key responsibilities

• Complete monthly, quarterly and year-end activities according to the department's operational indicators and timelines.
• Prepare and post low-to-medium complexity journal entries in the accounting system, meeting the closing deadlines of each USMT entity.
• Update and maintain financial reports for assigned accounts as part of the monthly close.
• Reconcile intercompany account balances and investigate discrepancies in related-party transactions during monthly closings.
• Prepare Financial Monitoring Controls (FMC) for the entities in scope and upload them to the Blackline system on time.
• Support internal FMC and external audits by documenting operational procedure controls and providing requested information promptly.
• Take part in special projects such as process migrations, system implementations and regional or team support activities.

Required profile

• University studies in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• B2 English level (oral and written).
• 1 to 2 years of experience in the accounting cycle, intercompany processes and month-end close, and in preparing and reviewing accounting entries.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Excel.
