About the role

Grupo Mecsa is looking for an Electromechanical Engineer to join its specialized projects team in Heredia, Costa Rica. The role blends technical engineering work with project coordination, client interaction and on‑site operational support for engineering and lightning‑protection systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the initiation and execution of projects with clients.
• Track technical reports, offers and documentation.
• Support the review of proposals and technical documentation.
• Plan project schedules and monitor progress.
• Conduct technical site visits and inspections, providing commercial teams with technical support when needed.
• Supervise operational advances and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with technical and operational staff throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Current CFIA registration.
• Proactive, communicative and organized with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel within and outside the Greater Metropolitan Area.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.

Required skills

• Knowledge of lightning protection systems.
