Production Supervisor – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

CooperSurgical is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate all manufacturing activities within its production environment. The role ensures quality, safety, and efficiency while supporting employee development and payroll processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily manufacturing activities for assigned production cells and adjust staffing to meet production requirements.
• Develop and apply performance metrics for individuals and the department.
• Coach, train, and evaluate Cell Leaders and shift personnel, handling hiring and onboarding.
• Address employee‑relations issues in partnership with HR and management.
• Oversee quality, cost, and schedule targets to satisfy internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot process problems, coordinate corrective maintenance, and operate production equipment.
• Manage payroll for production staff using Kronos and resolve first‑level salary inquiries.

Required profile

• At least two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
• Strong analytical abilities and detail‑oriented work style.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to travel to the United States for training.
