Case Manager – Assisted Voluntary Return

About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Case Manager to support Assisted Voluntary Return (AVR) services. The role involves assessing eligibility, guiding migrants through the return process, and ensuring accurate case documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct pre‑screening assessments for individuals applying for AVR services.
- Enter and track case details using the MIMOSA system.
- Interview migrants to gather information, explain the AVR process and available services.
- Perform data entry in Kobo and Excel, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Provide follow‑up support throughout the AVR process.
- Coordinate with internal teams, translators, and IOM offices in countries of origin to arrange returns.
- Analyze cases to identify needs, challenges and appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with other case managers to share best practices.
Required profile
- Experience conducting pre‑screening assessments for AVR services.
- Ability to interview migrants and clearly explain processes.
- Strong coordination skills with multiple stakeholders.
