Senior Android Developer – GraphQL

About the role

HNM Systems is looking for a Senior Android Developer with strong GraphQL experience to join a high‑performing mobile engineering pod. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery of Android features for a globally‑used digital platform, working in a fast‑paced, product‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, release and support Android applications from concept to production.
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code and enforce strong testing practices.
• Collaborate with backend, product, UX/UI and web engineers to translate requirements into functional mobile solutions.
• Integrate APIs using REST and GraphQL, and contribute to API design decisions.
• Operate as the sole Android engineer within a micro‑pod, mentoring junior developers when needed.
• Prototype new technologies, improve build pipelines, code review processes and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Mid‑to‑senior level experience in Android development.
• Proven ability to work independently and within distributed teams.
