Web Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Coforge is hiring a Web Full Stack Engineer to build and scale high-performance, cloud-native web applications across frontend, backend and infrastructure. The position is remote, based in Costa Rica, and involves turning prototypes, internal automation tools and predictive models into production-ready features together with product and data teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and scale cloud-native web applications across frontend, backend and infrastructure.
• Turn prototypes, internal automation tools and predictive models into scalable, production-ready features with product and data teams.
• Optimize backend worker queues, background jobs and cloud infrastructure for high availability and low latency.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to speed coding, improve code quality, run code reviews and automate testing.
• Build dashboards showing visibility into automation pipelines and integrate with platforms such as UiPath and Gemini Agents.
• Contribute to a culture of mentorship and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience developing full-stack web applications, including complex API integrations and background job processing.
• Ability to build complete product features from the frontend and backend based on specifications or mockups.
• Ability to work remotely with a private, quiet workspace and high-speed internet, and to communicate via webcam, video calls and phone.
• Compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations.

Required skills

• Ruby on Rails, SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL or Snowflake), HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js and React.
• Deploying and monitoring scalable applications in a public cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Exposure to automation tools, RPA bots, automated agents or document intelligence solutions.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows.

Preferred: building AI agents with OpenClaw, UiPath or Gemini AI Studio; document intelligence APIs; RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka or Pub/Sub; Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines; prompt engineering, skills.md, multi-agent orchestration and RAG.
