Senior Full Stack Java + Angular Developer

About the role

Coforge is hiring a Senior Full Stack SSE Developer (remote only) who will design, build and maintain enterprise web applications and backend microservices. The position is open to candidates based in Costa Rica or Peru.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise web applications and backend microservices using Java and Angular.
• Build scalable RESTful services and backend integrations.
• Develop high-performance user interfaces with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5 and SCSS.
• Apply OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns to write clean, maintainable code.
• Implement unit and integration tests and take part in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and troubleshoot complex technical and production issues.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 5+ years of backend development with Java (Java 11/17+ preferred).
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Angular (v14+) and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Upper-intermediate to advanced English.

Required skills

• Microservices architecture and dependency injection frameworks such as Spring, Guice or Dagger.
• RxJS, reactive forms and component-based architecture; HTML5, CSS3 and SCSS/Sass.
• REST APIs and SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including ACID transactions and query optimization.
• JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine and Karma; Git and CI/CD pipelines; Agile environments.
• Preferred: Angular 16/17, Standalone Components, Signals, Angular Material and CDK, gRPC, Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, cloud platforms, monorepos, feature flags, e-commerce or pricing solutions, and a bachelor's degree in a computer science field.
