Test Technician – Electronics PCB Testing

About the role
Teradyne is seeking a Test Technician to support first‑line qualification of new electronic products destined for high‑volume production. The role focuses on stabilising product software and hardware, applying Lean and PDCA methods while screening and debugging digital and analog PCB assemblies.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
- Support production priorities and workflow, including B‑shift coverage (Mon‑Fri, 2 pm‑10 pm).
- Inspect products for physical damage or missing components.
- Maintain accurate repair and product records.
- Test and troubleshoot electronic boards using diagnostic tools.
- Read schematics and wiring diagrams to identify failures.
- Execute component‑level repairs with soldering tools.
- Assist final inspection and functional product testing.
Required profile
- Technical degree in Electronics.
- Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
- At least 6 months of experience with computer operating systems (Windows) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a team, strong verbal and written communication, and process‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Electronics and circuit analysis.
- PCB testing and debugging.
- Use of diagnostic tools and equipment calibration.
- Reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Soldering and component‑level repair.
- Preventive maintenance of test equipment.
