Operations Manager

About the role

An operations manager is in charge of maximizing the processes of the different Value Streams on charge and guiding the different members of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate strategies and create a culture of continuous improvement to guarantee maximum process performance.
• Ensure material and planning resources meet performance indicators while complying with Medical Industry regulations.
• Promote safety, quality and a 5S environment across the plant.
• Delegate tasks to supervisors, evaluate employee performance and maintain assertive communication with all departments.
• Work with department supervisors and the Methods team to continuously improve product flow and meet revenue, profit, quality and on‑time delivery goals.

Required profile

• Technical learning with experience in intensive manufacturing processes.
• Proven expertise in complex problem solving and action‑oriented leadership.
• Strong ethics and alignment with company core values.
• Minimum 4 years of managerial experience in operations or production.
• Engineering degree (Master’s preferred).

Required skills

• Advanced computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of ISO 9002 and FDA regulated manufacturing environments.
• Effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
