Technical Account Manager – Data & Analytics (Remote – Costa Rica)

About the role

The Associate Technical Account Manager (TAM) works within Varicent’s Customer Success organization, supporting VIP customers who use Varicent’s SaaS solutions for revenue performance management. Based remotely in Costa Rica, the role advises client teams, builds strong stakeholder relationships, and helps maximise the return on their investment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the primary TAM in monitoring health and performance of Varicent solutions across a portfolio of VIP customers.
• Coach users on foundational Varicent functionality, configuration concepts, and best‑practice methodologies.
• Review new features, fixes, and release notes to assess potential impact on customer environments.
• Configure Varicent solutions based on documented customer requirements under senior TAM guidance.
• Prepare and share monthly performance, utilisation, and support‑related metric summaries.
• Analyze solution usage and data patterns to identify potential issues or optimisation opportunities.
• Assist in implementing proactive maintenance actions and solution improvements.
• Collaborate with TAMs and internal teams to troubleshoot technical issues and drive adoption of new functionality.

Required profile

• Experience working with SaaS solutions and supporting enterprise customers.
• Strong ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders and understand business goals.
• Proactive attitude toward monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving solution performance.
• Comfortable communicating technical concepts and providing guidance to end users.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL proficiency.
