Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team on a 6‑month hybrid basis in San Antonio, Heredia. The role focuses on turning business questions into actionable insights through well‑designed dashboards and visualizations, while collaborating closely with stakeholders and data specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct user interviews and gather requirements to understand business problems and reporting needs.
• Design clear, elegant visualizations using best‑in‑class data visualization techniques.
• Build and optimize dashboards following BI standards to reduce file size, refresh time, and improve maintainability.
• Partner with Analytics Data Specialists to define new or modified data warehouse views.
• Thoroughly QA new and updated dashboards for accuracy and functionality.
• Maintain existing dashboards, resolve access or data‑quality issues, and support daily refresh cycles.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or a related role.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Sigma or Tableau Desktop for dashboard design and publishing.
• Minimum 2 years working with Salesforce data (sales and marketing).
• Strong SQL and ad‑hoc data analysis skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
