Staff Planner – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the role

Confluent Medical Technologies is seeking a Staff Planner to coordinate material planning and production scheduling for one or more medical device product lines in Costa Rica. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and customers to ensure timely delivery while maintaining high inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules and capacity plans for firm and forecasted orders.
• Prepare and manage production documentation, including traveler issuance, job closures, and order tracking.
• Plan and estimate material requirements and coordinate purchasing activities.
• Analyze processes and implement improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and production control.
• Collaborate with customers to align delivery schedules and monitor order progress.
• Update purchasing and planning documentation and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in production planning, materials management, or medical device manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2+).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with 30% travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Knowledge of Theory of Constraints (TOC) and bottleneck analysis.
