Specialist – Production Equipment Repair

About the role

The Specialist – Production Equipment Repair will support preventive and predictive maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment within the designated value streams at our Grecia, Costa Rica site. The role ensures equipment reliability, extends asset life, and contributes to uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance routines on production equipment.
• Perform predictive maintenance diagnostics and intervene before failures occur.
• Repair mechanical and electrical equipment to restore functionality.
• Provide on‑site support to the facilities team and coordinate work with external contractors.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance with safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for equipment improvement and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Technical background in mechanical or electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read schematics, technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to equipment safety.
• Effective communication in Spanish and English.
