Specialist - Finance & Accounting Record to Report

About the role

The Specialist – Finance & Accounting – Record to Report (R2R) will manage month‑end closing activities, reporting and consolidations for Genpact’s Costa Rica operations. The role ensures compliance with KPIs, SLA commitments and audit requirements while supporting process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close, including journal entry review, balance‑sheet reconciliations and intercompany processes.
• Prepare quarterly, annual and audited statutory financial statements.
• Drive audit deliverables, submit evidence timely and resolve balancing items.
• Maintain reporting and consolidation schedules, ensuring KPI/SLA adherence.
• Identify automation opportunities and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field (Masters optional).
• Experience with month‑end closing, reporting and statutory financial statement preparation.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Ability to build customer relationships and lead process update calls.
