Cash & Investment Team Lead – US Operations (Costa Rica)

About the role

Join a global healthcare leader’s Business Service Center in Costa Rica as the AtR Cash & Investment Team Lead. You will oversee US cash operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive process improvements within a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise US cash operations, including period‑end close, IC loans, investments, capitalizations, commercial papers, and related activities.
• Drive month‑end close to meet strict reporting deadlines and ensure KPI achievement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with US local teams, the European Treasury Center, and other key stakeholders.
• Partner with cross‑functional groups (STS, OTC, EMM) to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with SOX controls.
• Approve and monitor BL reconciliations, journal entries, and documentation accuracy.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency, standardisation, and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 6 years experience in a shared‑service environment within a multinational organization, with exposure to US accounting.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Proficient English (written and spoken).
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience supervising teams (desirable).
