Software Engineer – Immediate Start (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The role focuses on building dynamic, responsive, and resilient backend systems while ensuring data integrity and security.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex, end‑to‑end backend services.
• Implement automated data migration and backup/restore strategies.
• Design and enforce security best practices, including access control for ingestion and search platforms.
• Deliver high‑traffic, high‑performance services using Search Platform technologies such as OpenSearch or ElasticSearch.
• Deploy and manage virtual infrastructure on AWS (EKS, OpenSearch, Terraform) and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional experience developing backend services.
• Proficiency in at least one of Scala, Java, or Python.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
• Strong background in high‑performance, high‑traffic systems.
• Familiarity with both imperative and functional programming paradigms.
