Shipping and Receiving Clerk I

About the role

Medtronic is seeking an entry‑level Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support its distribution center operations. The role involves handling inbound and outbound materials, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining smooth flow of goods in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical shipping and receiving tasks, including unpacking, wrapping, and labeling items such as finished products, raw stock, parts, and office supplies.
• Use the company’s computer system to track, log, verify, and report inventory movements.
• Verify quantity, weight, and conformity of materials against documentation and record receipts in the system.
• Process freight bills, packing sheets, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
• Route merchandise to appropriate destinations and support production or distribution activities as needed.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with little to no prior experience in shipping/receiving.
• Ability to follow standard procedures and work under close supervision.
• Basic understanding of production‑related systems and procedures is preferred.
