Senior P2P & OTC Analyst

About the role

Zelestra (formerly Solarpack), a multinational renewable energy company, is hiring a Senior P2P & OTC Analyst in San José, Costa Rica. The role covers financial services for the Zelestra Group's entities in Chile, Colombia, Peru, Germany, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, the United States and Ecuador. It is an experienced individual contributor with no direct reports, supporting end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) and order-to-cash (OTC) processes, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Execute accounts payable activities: invoice processing, vendor master data maintenance, payment execution support and issue resolution.
• Handle OTC activities: customer invoicing, collections, cash application, dispute management and credit control support.
• Run month-end activities for assigned entities (AP, AR, accruals, open items, reconciliations) and support the closing calendar.
• Apply company policies, internal controls and SOX requirements, and flag deviations to the P2P & OTC Manager.
• Prepare KPI, SLA and operational performance reports for P2P and OTC.
• Escalate difficult vendor and customer cases and complex issues to the manager.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Controlling, Tax, Procurement and Commercial teams, support audits and maintain documentation.
• Use AI tools and digital technologies to improve efficiency and propose process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Coordinate daily tasks, share knowledge and informally guide new joiners.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in P2P, OTC, Shared Services or Finance Operations.
• Ability to support and guide junior colleagues.
• English and Spanish at B2+ level or higher.
• Analytical thinking, ownership, stakeholder collaboration, ability to work under pressure and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP ERP experience (required).
• Advanced Excel.
• Working knowledge of AI tools applied to P2P and OTC.
• Solid knowledge of AP, AR, collections, payments, reconciliations, VAT and internal controls.
