Finance Operations Specialist

About the role

Datacor provides software solutions such as ERP, CRM, asset tracking, simulation and formulation to process manufacturing. This Finance Operations Specialist role partners with the global go-to-market teams to manage the full order-to-cash lifecycle, from contract preparation and order processing to license distribution, invoicing, recurring revenue renewals and monthly service billing. It is presented as an entry point into a broader Finance Operations career.

Key responsibilities

• Support the global sales team in preparing proposals and collecting signatures via the e-signature platform
• Create, revise and distribute license files for new orders, upgrades and demo requests, and manage licenses for sales and renewals
• Gather and verify order data so invoices and credits are processed accurately, keeping records within retention requirements
• Coordinate with third-party software suppliers where needed
• Invoice renewals throughout the month, update licenses to extend end dates and keep contract details up to date in the back-office system
• Create projects carefully, edit project structures so staff can record time, and deliver monthly service invoices
• Generate and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports on revenue, renewals, billing and order activity for Finance and GTM leadership

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in order management, finance operations or administrative support
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer service orientation
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, billing and recordkeeping

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Salesforce or experience with a CRM application
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with ERP or billing systems is a plus
