Senior .NET Backend Developer

About the role

Proxify is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to act as the core backend architect for a high‑growth client. You will design and implement enterprise‑level, high‑throughput distributed systems while ensuring performance, security, and cloud‑native readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build robust, maintainable, and testable backend services from scratch.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing memory usage and query execution times.
• Lead peer code reviews and establish coding standards.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Frontend Engineers to define technical requirements and API specifications.
• Work with DevOps to manage deployment pipelines and ensure zero‑downtime releases.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong verbal and written English, able to lead technical discussions.
• Growth‑oriented mindset with a passion for building complex products.

Required skills

• C# and .NET (6/8/9) expertise.
• Building scalable Web APIs, custom middleware, and dependency injection.
• Entity Framework Core, performance tuning, migrations, SQL Server.
• Azure services (or AWS equivalents), serverless functions, Service Bus, containerization.
• Microservices, Domain‑Driven Design, event‑driven architectures.
• Test‑first approach using xUnit/nUnit and Moq.
