Senior Manufacturing Accountant

About the role

The Senior Manufacturing Accountant supports multiple manufacturing sites within a region, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This role blends deep accounting knowledge with problem‑solving and collaboration across finance and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare manual journal entries with proper documentation.
• Calculate and record reserves (e.g., E&O, NRV) and perform manufacturing variance analysis.
• Execute account reconciliations in Blackline according to deadlines.
• Respond promptly to queries from local finance teams.
• Provide audit support and assist with regional/global reporting, including monthly balance‑sheet and P&L flux analysis.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, internal/external audit requirements, and local regulations.
• Participate in local, regional, and global projects while identifying continuous‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of inventory accounting experience, preferably in a shared‑service environment.
• Background in manufacturing accounting is a plus.
• Experience working in a multinational setting or audit environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with ERP tools such as JDE, SAP, Blackline, Alteryx, and W‑Desk.
