Senior IT Technologist – Device Services Systems Management

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Senior IT Technologist to own and evolve the Device Services Systems Management platform, focusing on the Microsoft Intune‑managed environment for global client devices. You will lead the design, engineering, and continuous improvement of endpoint management solutions, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant device experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership and strategic direction for the Intune‑managed platform and enterprise hardware standards.
• Design, engineer, and optimize endpoint management solutions to meet security, compliance, and productivity requirements.
• Oversee operational activities delivered through a Managed Service Provider, ensuring SLA adherence and service quality.
• Partner with cross‑functional IT, security, and service delivery teams to modernize device lifecycle processes and drive global standardization.
• Develop, document, and configure system specifications aligned with architecture standards.
• Identify system deficiencies, execute changes, and test updates to maintain data integrity and performance.
• Act as liaison with technology vendors and internal business functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing large‑scale endpoint management solutions.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software compliance, security policies, and automation.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and manage relationships with external service providers.
