Strategic Resource Management Consultant

About the role

The IDB Group is seeking a Strategic Resource Management Consultant to support the rollout of an IT Financial Management (ITFM) tool. The role combines financial planning, resource allocation, and operational excellence to help the organization achieve its strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring product‑level OKRs and ensure alignment with institutional priorities.
• Collaborate with product teams to align operating methodologies, prioritization, and budget allocation across RUN, GROW, and TRANSFORM initiatives.
• Support governance processes for prioritization and funding decisions, maintaining consistency with approved budget frameworks.
• Prepare executive reports and dashboards on budget execution, investment performance, and cost transparency.
• Support the implementation and adoption of the ITFM tool to improve cost transparency and financial decision‑making.
• Assist in preparation, allocation, and monitoring of capital and administrative budgets, providing financial analysis and investment proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, cost management, and strategic planning.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken); French or Portuguese a plus.
• Citizenship of a member country of the IDB Group and eligibility to work without sponsorship.
