Senior IT Engineer (Onsite)

About the role

Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP), a consulting and technology services company founded in 2007, is looking for a Senior IT Engineer with 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT operations, automation, networking and infrastructure. The role calls for strong technical leadership, advanced troubleshooting and the ability to mentor other engineers. It requires a constant presence in the facilities (3 to full week) and English B1+ proficiency to work with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimize collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Admin Console), application management and identity systems (Entra ID)
• Configure and manage helpdesk systems (Manage Engine, Freshservice, Zendesk) and asset management systems for hardware and software lifecycle tracking
• Manage IT hardware and software inventory across multiple sites or departments
• Lead complex troubleshooting and incident resolution, and support general network issues
• Design, implement and support automation scripts, monitoring solutions and endpoint management platforms
• Take part in projects such as IT process improvement, security enhancements and network upgrades
• Collaborate with Security, DevOps and Operations teams and mentor junior IT specialists

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience and certifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT enterprise environments, processes, customer service and operations
• Proven experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, helpdesk and asset management tools
• History of leading troubleshooting, working with cross-functional teams and mentoring juniors
• Analytical, proactive and able to work in fast-paced environments

• Windows, macOS, Linux and IAM administration
• VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and firewall management (Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki)
• PowerShell, Bash or Python; Zabbix, AV Console, Microsoft Intune
• Endpoint protection, MFA, Zero Trust, log analysis, MDM/EDR
• Nice to have: ITIL v4, Google Workspace or Microsoft certifications, AWS/Azure/GCP experience
