Senior Issue Management Analyst (AVP)

About the role

The Issue Management Senior Analyst (AVP) is responsible for coordinating and managing issues across key stakeholders to ensure Citi remains compliant and effectively remediates findings from internal and external reviews. This role drives the investigation of control gaps, develops corrective action plans, and promotes sustainable solutions by addressing root causes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive issue management with business units and senior management.
• Conduct quality reviews to ensure adherence to Issue Management Policy, Standards, and Procedures.
• Facilitate Business/Function Quality Control engagement throughout high‑impact issue remediation lifecycles.
• Maintain robust tracking and reporting of issue inventories, including quality metrics and risk visibility.
• Utilize analytics to assess remediation trends, identify key risks, and recommend process improvements.
• Support stakeholders in developing corrective action plans and incorporating lessons‑learned.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and promote a culture of risk awareness.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or related control functions within the financial services industry.
• Proven ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
• Strong knowledge of control development and execution.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on root‑cause analysis.
