Senior Ionic Mobile Developer – Android & iOS

About the role

Join 3Pillar as a Senior Ionic Mobile Developer and help shape high‑performance, secure, and scalable mobile applications for Android and iOS. You will work on an existing production Ionic app, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and deliver durable fixes while collaborating with a global, remote‑first team.

Key responsibilities

• Write efficient, testable, and secure client code using Ionic, Capacitor and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Diagnose and resolve startup delays, memory leaks, UI jank, and WebView rendering issues.
• Stabilize the existing codebase by identifying root causes of crashes and shipping robust fixes.
• Debug and optimise the WebView‑to‑native bridge and native plugin interactions.
• Provide accurate status tracking, reporting and estimation using Agile tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and managers to iterate on solutions that drive client success.

Required profile

• 3+ years of production experience with the Ionic Framework and related technologies (Capacitor, Angular/React/Vue, TypeScript).
• Fluency with native iOS (Xcode, Swift/Objective‑C) and Android (Android Studio, Kotlin/Java) build and release processes.
• Hands‑on experience with mobile performance profiling tools (Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler, Chrome DevTools).
• Experience using crash reporting tools such as Sentry or Firebase Crashlytics.
• Proven ability to stabilise an existing production app under time pressure.
• Strong English communication skills and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
